Important Dates and Arrival Information

MOVE-IN SIGN UP

All residents, regardless of their arrival date, must complete the Fall Move-In Sign Up form in the Housing Portal before arriving on campus for the fall semester.

Early Arrival (August 16-19)

Early arrival is available for residents with a need to arrive before Grand Opening. Residents arriving early are responsible for paying the nightly rate of their room until the housing agreement’s start date of Thursday, August 20 (unless early arrival costs are covered by their pre-approved population/group).

Early Arrival Information

If you have signed up to arrive between August 16-19, you will arrive on campus during your move-in time slot and receive your keys at the check-in location listed below. 

Steps for Checking In Early

  • Make your way to your designated 30-minute unloading zone. 
  • Proceed to the check-in location for your building. Make sure you have your USFCard or government-issued ID to check in. 
  • Unload your belongings! A limited number of courtesy carts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Move your car to a long-term parking lot.
  • Set up your space and start to Live the Bull's Life! 

Check-In Locations

Beta, Castor, Cypress, Greek Village, Holly, Kosove, Maple Halls and The Village (Beacon, Endeavor, Horizon, Pinnacle, and Summit Halls)
Residents of these halls will check in at Holly L (HAL) from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

Juniper, Poplar, and Magnolia Residents
Residents of these halls will check in at the Juniper-Poplar Lobby Service Desk (JPH) from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

Come prepared! Move-in assistance will only be offered on Grand Opening Day (August 20). Residents are encouraged to bring their own hand truck or cart to ensure a swift move-in. Approximately 200 courtesy carts will be distributed between Holly J (HAJ) and Juniper-Poplar (JPH) for residents to check out on a first-come, first-served basis between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Grand Opening Day (August 20) 

For all information regarding move-in on August 21, please visit the Grand Opening Day webpage. 

Late Arrival (August 21-23) 

If you plan to arrive after August 20, that is okay! Your Housing Contract begins on August 20, so there will be no fees associated with arriving after August 20.
