What is RHA?

RHA is the governing body for on-campus residents. RHA consists of the executive board, the General Assembly, and the 16 Hall Councils. Together, they serve and advocate for residents.

What does RHA stand for?

RHA stands for "Residence Hall Association."

When and where does RHA meet?

RHA meets every Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Cypress E Classroom (RCE).

Can I come to an RHA meeting?

Yes, RHA General Assemblies are open to the public and any student can attend. We would love to see you on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the Cypress E Classroom!

How can I get involved with RHA?

The RHA General Assembly consists of senators from each Hall Council and the executive board. At the start of each Fall semester, there is an application to join your residence hall's Hall Council. During the schools year, contact your hall's RLC or your RA to learn more about your hall council. Senators and other Hall Council members have the opportunity at the end of the Spring semester to run for the RHA Executive Board.

What can I gain from joining RHA?

RHA allows students to gain leadership experience as they plan events, lead initiatives, and develop communities within their residence halls. RHA also hosts development workshops for leadership, marketing, and social justice skills. Additionally, RHA members can apply to join USF's delegation at nation-wide conferences.
