  • Visit the Office of International Services during walk-in hours to receive your step-by-step instruction guide to get your Florida Driver’s License.

Police and Security

USF has a full-service police department (USFPD) on campus. They strive to provide a safe environment for the community. Contact 911 for all police and health emergencies. For non-emergency police assistance, call 813-974-2628.

Bicycle and Pedestrian ‘Walkwise’ Safety Training

Visit the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Scam Alert website to stay one step ahead of scammers. 

Safe Team

USF students of all ages may contact Safe Team by calling 813-974-7233 from 6:30 pm to 2:00 am to request an Uber ride. USF students receive $30 per month in vouchers for an Uber ride. DO NOT drink and drive, as it is a serious legal offense.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides a variety of psychological services for all currently registered students, which are free and confidential. Through compassionate and diversity-oriented professional services, the Counseling Center offers you the opportunity to learn how to resolve problems, practice new skills, and utilize insights and perspectives to enhance your mental wellness and be academically successful.

Student Health Services

In collaboration with The Counseling Center, Student Health Services provides confidential support services including Psychiatry, Post-doctoral Psychologists, and case management to evaluate your emotional needs, treat mental health conditions, prescribe medication if needed, and provide counseling utilizing brief therapy techniques to improve your well-being. Center for Victim Advocacy

The Center for Victim Advocacy provides free and confidential services to USF students, faculty, and staff who have experienced crime, or violence on- or off-campus. Their mission is to empower survivors of crime, violence, or abuse by promoting the restoration of decision making, by advocating for their rights, and by offering support and resources.

The Center for Student Well-Being (SWELL)

The Center for Student Well-Being (SWELL) provides services and resources to help students develop life-long healthy habits, stay well balanced, and be successful in college. SWELL offers workshops, presentations, and awareness campaigns on wellness topics relevant to students’ lives.
