Dr. Xie’s main research interests include understanding relationships between phytoplankton functional types and marine primary production. His role for this project will mainly include developing, maintaining, and providing a user-friendly computing environment for satellite data processing. He will also provide customized data products through the Optical Oceanography Lab’s web portal.
