Event Overview

This year we reimagined the RecFit Games! Historically, RecWell hosted the Games as a single-entry competition. This year, we're bringing back teams! Choose your partner for a fun competition against fellow students. Everyone who enters, will receive a t-shirt!

Friday, November 17th from 7-11pm | Fowler Fields

How to Sign your team up

Once you've decided who your partner will be, only one of you will need to register! There will be three divisions: male-male, female-female, or co-ed teams. One person will fill out the forms with you and your partner's information. The fee to register is $20; this fee covers the cost of t-shirts, snacks, & medals!

Obstacle Course Events

  • 250-meter row
    • There will be two rowers set up; each partner must row 250 meters before moving onto the next event. 
  • Tire Flip
    • Each partner must flip their tire down the indicated distance & back to where they started. Partners can help each other if someone finishes their tire early. 
  • Barbell Hops
    • There will be 2 barbells with 45s on each side. Each partner will hop side-to-side over the barbell 50x (25 time each side). 
  • Dead Ball Shoulder Throw
    • Each partner will squat down, stand up, & throw the dead ball over their shoulder 20x 
  • Wheelbarrow
    • Each team must hold their partner's legs for wheelbarrow down to an indicated distance & back before switching
  • Kettlebell Move
    • There will be a variety of different weighted kettlebells in a circle. Teams must move all kettlebells from one circle to another one. 
  • Rope Pull
    • There will be two ropes set up with a 45lbs weight plate attached to it. Teams will get on their knees and pull the plates towards them. Once it reaches the line, teams will then run down to the other side and do it again. 
  • Fowler Field Sprint
    • Teams will run an indicated distance before crossing the finish line. 

Prizes

The first place team from each division will receive a trophy! The second & third place teams will receive medals. The entrance fee will cover the cost of t-shirt for both partners!
