overview

The campus recreation community across the United States is united under NIRSA | National Intramural and Recreation Sports Association.  Each year, we celebrate NIRSA's birthday | February 22.

This year, we're going big and turning a day into a month.  This week, it's all about Fitness.


week 1 | Fitness

Feb 22 - 28, 2021

Push your limits with three (3), in-person challanges.  Details and locations of the challenges can be found below. 

You will need a facility reservation to enter the building and participate.  No challenges will be conducted during the 15-minute closure periods between reservation time slots.


cycle challenge | Feb 22

Mon | Feb 22 | 3:30 - 6:15 PM | REC

Participants will cycle at a level 5 resistance and complete one mile as fast as possible.  Up to nine (9) participants can compete at a given time.


deadlift AMRAP | Feb 24

Wed | Feb 24 | 5:00 - 7:45 PM | REC

Participants will complete as many reps as they can at a prescribed weight. This weight will be given based on participant’s body weight.

Meet at the platforms on the lower level.  One participant at a time.
