USF Nursing Students Get Clinical Experience in Barranquilla, Colombia

U.S. Department of State funds New Cybersecurity and AI Study Abroad Program at USF
June 14, 2024 -- The U.S. Department of State has awarded USF funding  to establish a study abroad program at the tech-focused Algebra University in Croatia. It’s designed for USF students pursuing degrees in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and computer science engineering. USF World’s Sash Ceremony Draws Packed House to Celebrate Graduation
May 7, 2024 -- More than 1,000 international students from more than 70 different countries were among USF’s spring 2024 graduates: 30 new PhDs, 602 students earning master’s degrees and 388 earning bachelor’s degrees. Hurricane Awareness Event Kicks Up a Storm of Questions
May 7, 2024 -- Each semester, as hurricane season waxes and wanes, the USF International Student Support and Emergency Management teams offer hurricane awareness events that help students from outside of Florida learn what to do in case of a weather-related emergency. Supply kit contents, available shelters, and flood zone discussions all help  students feel more confident on making a plan of action during inclement weather. USF Celebrates 31 Years of Partnership with Universidad del Norte in Colombia
May 2, 2024 -- This year marks the 31st anniversary of the University of South Florida’s academic partnership with the Universidad del Norte (UniNorte) in Barranquilla, Colombia. Canada-Florida Chamber of Commerce Visits USF Tampa, Coinciding with the Launch of Network Canada
February 13, 2024 -- In early February, USF World hosted the Canada-Florida Chamber of Commerce Health Tech trade mission delegation at the USF Research Park, where members of the team presented the extraordinary resources available to entrepreneurs in the medical technology sectors. The visit included tours of the office space and research labs at the USF Research Park, USF Connect, and a trip to the university’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) in downtown Tampa, where they experienced USF Health’s state-of-the-art facilities firsthand. Provost Enjoys Dinner with Prominent USF Alumni in Hyderabad
January 11, 2024 -- Many of USF’s international student alumni living and working in India are based in and around the city of Hyderabad. Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state and is a major center for technology and financial industries. USF Provost Mohapatra and USF World Vice President Kiki Caruson had the good fortune of meeting with a group of USF alumni last October 2023 during their visit to India.
