Ramil Perez Foundation Student Collaboration Space

Designed by students, for students. With a variety of seating configurations – and an abundance of power outlets – student groups of all sizes will have the ability to meet here to collaborate on class projects, discover innovative solutions, and form bonds with classmates of all majors … all without ever needing to leave the college.

Amphitheater

Inspired by the college’s renowned outside-the-box teaching philosophy, this artfully designed seating area offers a pathway to second floor of the building and a space for class discussions in the beautiful outdoors. These wide-tiered stairs will be the perfect location for students to view special guest lectures, musical and dramatic performances, class presentations, and more.

Terrace

Our beautiful second-floor terrace on the west side of the building is a welcoming connection between the bustling interior and the open air. This expansive space can accommodate special Honors College events and a wide range of student activities, while bench seating will provide spaces for study and casual conversation.

The Wilcox Family Office of National Scholars

Serving all students from across the university, the Office of National Scholars advises and mentors students through the application process for prestigious national and international academic awards. Located in a highly visible and easily accessible space, the Office of National Scholars is a high-touch resource for students, dedicated to empowering students to submit competitive applications through workshops, one-on-one consultations, and group meetings.

Multipurpose Room

This flexible space serves students of all majors by allowing college staff to host workshops about prestigious national scholarship opportunities, writing assistance seminars, study abroad information sessions, and more. Adaptable furniture makes this a truly customizable space.

Learning Lofts

Suspended around the second floor of the building’s atrium, the Tripp and Anderson Hart, T. Terrell Sessums, Luis and Cynthia Visot, Paul and Cyndy Sanberg, Steve and Holly Prevaux, the Krystyn Fueyo Family, John Meeks, Judy Genshaft and John Meeks Collaboration, and the Meeks Family learning lofts will accommodate two to eight people each and allow students, faculty, and staff to meet in small groups while enjoying spectacular views of the college. Each loft is configured with its own seating and furniture to facilitate both planned and impromptu meetings and collaborations.
