Care and Conduct

Student Survival Tips

You must attend your classes. If you miss 36 hours of any class in a semester, you may be asked to leave the program.

Academic English students will be immediately suspended if they miss 36 hours or more of class per semester. Students taking the University Culture & Skills class will be immediately suspended if they miss 40 hours or more of class per semester. Academic English students may check their attendance at a specified computer in the Computer Lab (SOC 279).

Reporting Illnesses

If you have an illness that will cause you to miss classes, be sure to report this to your academic advisors promptly.

You must always turn in your own work. If are caught turning in work that is not your own, there will be serious consequences. If you are ever unsure whether your work is plagiarized, speak with your teacher as soon as possible.

Check your USF email every day, because INTO USF will send you important emails such as your class schedules or grade reports.
