Fitness program at Campus Recreation is dedicated to providing a variety of educational opportunities for students and campus recreation members. We offer a variety of workshop formats designed to engage participants and provide lecture and/or practical application of fitness theories, trends, or topics.

Creative Mind & Movement Workshops

Come ignite your inner fire and let your mind be free during this creative journaling and yoga experience. All workshops take place at the Campus Recreation Center room 022B.

Fundamental Lift Series

The squat, bench, and deadlift exercises are the foundations of any strength training program. Attend one or all sessions in this series for in-depth knowledge, practice, and modifications on these fundamental movement patterns. This session will focus on proper bench press technique and will include variations of the lift to maximize effectiveness.

All FLS workshops are free; advanced registration is required.

Your Exercise Rx

Are you in need of a personalized fitness program that you can access on your own time? Register for one of these workshops to learn the basics of exercise programming for your fitness goals. Participants will gain access to an on-line personal training platform and receive 3 weeks of virtual coaching from a certified personal trainer.
