Special Events

Various special events including challenges, competitions, incentive programs, and social media contests are offered throughout the year to keep you motivated to reach your fitness goals and stay engaged with Campus Recreation. Events are scheduled to reach many different interests and fitness levels. Most events are free for students and Campus Recreation members. Special events may require a small fee and/or advanced registration if space is limited.

Love Your Body Week

Attend events for opportunities to win a Love Your Body prize bundle including foam rollers, trigger point ball, sleep packs, and other self-care essentials.

Creative Mind & Movement Workhop

Connect your mind and body as it can do amazing things. In this Creative Mind and Movement workshop, you will flow through postures that emphasize your strengths and allow your mind to flow freely. Bring a pen and paper to reflect on your mind body connection.

Your Body Is Enough

Who says you can only get a workout in if you have equipment? Come move and learn about functional bodyweight exercises that you can do anywhere. Participate in Love Your Body Week and see what your body can do!

Lunch & Learn: Fuel Your Fitness Fire

Join us for a lunch and learn program to get important information related to sport and exercise nutrition. Find out and celebrate what your body CAN do with the proper food to fuel your workouts and recover well .Ask questions and get advice from registered dieticians and exercise professionals

Ladies' Night: Meet Me At The Bar

Experience the benefits of strength training and learn about body positivity in a fun, open, and comfortable setting. Certified female personal trainers will be there answer questions as they guide you through exercises to build strength and help you feel your best.

Looking for a way to sweat and de-stress this week? Come ride to the beat followed by a 45 minute restorative yoga session. Refuel with healthy snacks and smoothies!

Find Your Fit

Kick your new year resolutions into high gear. If making fitness is a priority, we are here to help. Grab a BINGO card and stay active. Earn prizes throughout the month to help keep you motivated. Get BINGO and turn in your card for t-shirt, watter bottle, or other cool prizes.

New year, new opportunities to move well and Find Your FIT! Visit the newest wellness facility in University Village and see how to make this your best year yet. Try outdoor bootcamp at 5:30 or flow with us in a poolside yoga class at 7:15pm. If you want to find out how to get the best workout for you, personal trainers will be available to answer your questions.

Step out of your comfort zone and try a new group fitness format...or EIGHT! Pick up your punch card from any fitness team member and start collecting your stamps! The first 50 individuals to stamp 8 different group fitness formats will receive a free T-shirt!


Let's Move For a Better World: Yellow Party
March 28th on the Cardio Floor
5:30pm - 9:30pm

Join us on the REC cardio floor as we move for a better world at our annual Yellow Party! Games, prizes, giveaways, and activities will be happening throughout the evening. This event is free.


Best of the Bulls
April 16th through 18th
12:00pm - 8:00pm

Who is the strongest Bull at USF? Participate in this challenge to see where you rank amongst your fellow Bulls in one or all of our daily events. See if you have what it takes to be at the top of the leaderboard and be named Challenge Champion.
