Virtual Global Exchange

Partnering

International partnerships are the keystone of courses that feature a virtual global exchange. Faculty may identify their international partners themselves or with help from USF World. Interested partner institutions may also contact us to facilitate USF partners. Read more about these options below.

for usf faculty

Faculty who have a pre-existing relationship with a faculty member at an international institution and who would like to develop a shared course experience with that faculty partner are encouraged to do so. Having a pre-existing relationship can make the course development process easier and ties between campuses stronger.

However, USF World can also help to link faculty with possible contacts at one of USF's partner institutions if a preexisting relationship dos not exist. The Global Discovery Hub is the first place to start exploring existing partnerships. A USF VGE Coordinator can help facilitate possible partnerships between USF faculty and faculty at one of the global partner network universities.

Interested USF faculty members should complete a USF Faculty Interest Form to submit information about the course(s) within which they wish to incorporate a virtual global exchange. A VGE Coordinator will be in touch following each submission.
