An annual report on high-impact researchers published by Elsevier and Stanford University once again featured faculty from the USF College of Marine Science. The study uses career-long and single-year citations to identify the top two percent of researchers globally in their respective fields.

The report, published in October, recognizes 11 current researchers and two emeritus faculty members from the College of Marine Science as top researchers in their fields.

“These rankings demonstrate the influence of our research at the College of Marine Science,” said Tom Frazer, professor and dean of the college. “We strive to make meaningful contributions to ocean science, and the inclusion of these researchers in this report shows the impact they have, not only on their respective fields but also on real-world issues and science more broadly.”
