Dr. Timothy Heath, a marketing professor in the Muma College of Business, was among the 12 USF Fulbright recipients for 2018-19. Based in Vienna, Austria, Dr. Heath spent nearly four months as a visiting professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) researching the methods of cross-fertilizing U.S. and European innovation approaches. For Dr. Heath, this was an opportunity to devote his full attention to a project that has been on the back of his mind for over 20 years.

“[The Fulbright Award] has helped move my work forward significantly on a long overdue project that may prove to be my primary legacy,” said Heath.

When he was not teaching or researching, Heath used his time to get to know the locals of the university. “I have loved my time here, and I got to know some tremendous faculty and doctoral students at WU.”

In addition to his Fulbright Award, Dr. Health also received a 2018 Outstanding Area Editor Award from the Journal of Marketing and an Outstanding Faculty Award from USF.
