The move-in process begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 10 in Beacon Hall, where you will pick up your keys, complete any necessary forms, and activate your University ID. The Beacon check-in location is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday, May 10. Outside of these hours, you should visit The Hub 24-hour desk, where check-in remains open 24-hours a day until noon on Monday, May 13. The move-in process begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 21.
Students living in Juniper, Poplar, or Magnolia should report to Juniper Hall (RJH) and Poplar Hall (RPH). Please follow the check-in signage in the lobby.
During check-in you will pick up your keys, complete any necessary forms, and activate your University ID. Check-in remains open 24-hours until noon on Monday, June 24. If you will be arriving later, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are attending Orientation June 19 - 20, you are eligible to apply for an early arrival. However, you must complete an Early Arrival form located in the Housing Portal no later than noon (12 p.m.) on June 18. There is an extra cost associated with an early arrival and is dependent on where you are assigned for the summer. This one-time nightly fee is assessed to your account after you are approved and is not due when you arrive.

The Student Support Services move-in process begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 16 at Juniper-Poplar Hall where you will pick up your keys, complete any necessary forms, and participate in SSS welcome programs!
The Bulls to Business Program move-in process begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6 at Juniper-Poplar Hall where you will pick up your keys, complete any necessary forms, and activate your University ID. Check-in concludes at 2 p.m.
The ACE Program move-in process begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10 at Juniper-Poplar Hall where you will pick up your keys, complete any necessary forms, and activate your University ID. Check-in concludes at 2 p.m.
Parking will be available for residents and families in Lot 24 and the Richard A. Beard Parking Facility. When moving in, be sure you are aware of campus parking regulations. Remember not to park in any space reserved for persons with disabilities unless you have the appropriate permit.
If you have questions regarding your dining plan, please contact Dining Services at 813-974-4499, via email, or visit Dining Services at the Marshall Student Center, 1st floor, Room 1502, during normal business hours. Visit the USF Dining Services Website.
Students in Juniper-Poplar will pick up any packages at the package pick-up center located near the Poplar elevator lobby. Students living elsewhere on campus will pick up packages and mail in the North Campus Mail Center in Holly H. You can locate your mailing address and mailbox combination in the Housing Portal in the "Profile Information" section. Learn more about campus mail.

- Complete the housing application steps to secure an assignment:
- Know your room assignment and roommate.
- Contact your roommate and discuss who will bring what, to avoid duplication.
- If applicable, check your homeowner's/renter's insurance to see if it covers your belongings on campus. If not, we recommend that you purchase additional insurance through your company or check out these specialized options (links are provided as examples and do not serve as endorsements):
- Get in touch with other incoming students and stay up-to-date on important university announcements through your class Facebook group.
- Complete other university checklists (such as purchasing parking pass, ordering textbooks, etc.).
- Review the Move-In Checklist.
- Remember to bring your University ID with you.
Are you a new student moving in for summer B?
Once you have your key, get settled in your new home, and meet with your RA, the next step is checking in with New Student Connections, who will get you ready for the Summer B Kickoff! At New Student Connections check-in, you will be assigned a Peer Advisor Leader (PAL) who will prepare you for your first weekend at college and get you all the important information for the "First Fifty Days" which are critical for establishing your connection with USF and having a successful start to your year.
