Health Insurance & Immunizations
All international students are required to purchase health insurance that meets university and state guidelines. The insurance bill is posted to your OASIS student account along with tuition and fees. If you do not purchase the USF plan, you must provide proof of alternate insurance that meets the minimum criteria. All students are required to provide proof of immunization history.
USF Card
The USFCard is the official identification card of the University of South Florida. The USFCard is a multi-functional card with digitized photo and electronic identification and used as validation for departments to verify student and/or employee status. Visit the Card Center to obtain your USFCard.
Navigating USF as an International Student
The Office of International Services offers a series of optional sessions for new international graduate students to supplement your orientation and help you transition to life in the United States. Our staff also organizes “walk-over” groups to various campus events meant to help introduce you to our campus. These sessions are not required, and you may attend as your schedule allows.
